Why take this course?
During this Emergency First Response Primary Care course you will learn how to deal with life threatening emergencies. You will become more comfortable in being able to respond to others in a time of need.
Who can take this course?
Anyone of any age who wishes to learn the basic steps in First Aid care.
How long does it take?
Half a day.
What's involved ?
The course focuses on primary care through knowledge and skill development sessions and realistic scenarios. This practice ensures that participants have the ability and confidence to provide basic care when an emergency situation arises.
You will cover:
Scene safety assessment
Use of Barriers
Primary Assessment
Rescue Breathing
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Conscious and Unconscious Obstruction of Airway
Serious Bleeding Management & Shock
You may also complete during your course one or two recommended skills:-
Orientation to Emergency Oxygen Use
Automated External Defibrilation Training (AED)
How much will it cost?
£95.00
You will also receive a full colour illustrated EFR Student Manual a Student EFR DVD showing all the skills & includes the EFR Primary Care Certification Identity Card. On completion you will also receive your EFR PIC application card.
